I am a career civil engineer with 50 years of experience working on civil engineering projects. For 34 years, I’ve also been a Service Reservoir Panel Engineer under the Reservoirs Act 1975. This is the inspection, QCE and construction role on service reservoirs and supervising engineer duties for all reservoirs. Currently, I am undertaking inspecting engineer role for water companies and supervising engineer role for 10 reservoirs annually for councils, commercial organisations and private individuals. Given the growing need for farm and horticultural reservoirs, I’m developing schemes to help farmers and horticultural companies achieve planning permission through permitted development and size reservoirs for drought.
